Contest Brief

Hi, we'd like a logo designed for a mac repair company, with the name 'Genius' in the company name. So the logo should be centered around the word Genius.
The company name is The Mac Genius. The full name should be used in the logo, and we'd like 2 versions, a longer width and shorter height version, and a shorter width and longer height version.

Requirements:
- The design should be simple, smooth and modern, like Apple.
- We've attached a couple logos we like, and we'd like some features of each incorporated in.
- We like a lot of the features in Logo 1, including the colors, the font and the circles and lines surrounding the light bulb.
- We like how the bottom of the light bulb in Logo 2 forms a G - we'd like to see a version where the G begins the word Genius.
- Of course, please use your imagination, and don't feel like you need to meet all the requirements above.
- NEW! We prefer clean, sharp and smooth colors. A faint glow is preferred and acceptable to some elements. #50 is a perfect example.
- The logo would need to be in vector form, to be enlarged as much as we need it to. We'd want it in eps and psd version, with everything editable.
- An IP transfer would need to be signed before final payment is received.

If you believe you should receive a higher price for your submission, and we like the quality of the submission enough to decide on it, we are willing to negotiate the price.

UPDATE!
Very nice so far, folks! The best so far is #50 , the use of the apple leaf for the i and the clean, smooth and sharp colors are perfect. However, we're trying to stay away from the Apple Logo, so we'd rather stick with a clean, smooth and sharp lightbulb. Definitely getting there, though!

UPDATE!
Any submissions using an apple that is similar or the same as Apple's logo will be rejected. That's not what we're looking for, we're looking for something new and fresh. An apple like the one in #50 is fine, but we prefer a lightbulb.

Thanks for everyone's submissions so far! A couple clarifications:

1. The best so far is #10 .
2. However, what still seems to be lacking is the integration between the text and the actual logo, they should be more unified.
3. Let's remember to keep the design nice and modern, something you'd picture on a smooth, new modern website.

Also - we really like the Raleway font. Let's try having the logo words have that font. The colors green, blue and black are acceptable in the logo.

An actual lightbulb needs to be incorporated in the design, as we'll be using just the icon (lightbulb) of the design by itself sometimes - as a favicon, etc., and it needs to be recognizable as part of our logo.
