Contest Brief

I am looking for a new logo for my business. Really. An iconic LOGO.

To me, this means a shape that is easily recognizable with letters to go along with it. What I have seen so far is mostly letters arranged creatively, which anyone can do. Enter this competition because you are creative, and you understand that a shape is an icon that goes along with words.

My name is Dr. Tom James, and I am looking to develop a ICONIC personal brand logo that incorporates my name and the word Engage, followed by 3 dots. Something simple that will be used for emails, on headers, web pages, etc.

This is not to be a medical brand at all. I do not practice anymore, so this logo should be simple.

Use these two terms...exactly as you see them, including the "...", but not necessarily in that order!

Engage..."

Try thinking of it this way - "Engage..." should make you think of motion and engagement of some sort.

My name is important, but "Engage..." gets the message across if it is used creatively and a designer takes that implied feeling and creates a shape to go along with the feeling the logo should help to evoke.

Dark green, 0B8003 is a good color to start with.

I will be using your work in various forms, so I will require .JPG and .PNG files.

You mentioned this would be a "personal Brand" Is it a moniker, something that reflects your "personal" lifestyle. Or will you be using this to bring others to your doorstep for business, like a Therapist or Nutritionist ?

  I do go by TJ, but not professionally. Emphasizing those letters is acceptable, but I am looking for an iconic LOGO as described. Think of a shape and letters to go with it, not just letters arranged creatively.
