Contest Brief

We have a company called Pathway Drug Discovery. It uses gene expression mapped onto the molecular signaling pathways to predict the activity of various drugs.

We would like to design a logo for it.

We had the logo contest for this company in the past and made an award, but are not happy with the logo.

We would like to have a concept which would include a Maze (labyrinth) with a pathway coming out and leading to healthy condition (e.g. DNA with hands up in a happy state like in http://agingresearch.org/images/banner/aar_logo.gif ).

I attached the sketch, which can inspire your work, but the labyrinth must be smaller, path of escape should be more clear.

Preferred colors are green and blue.

hey Bobik, pleasure to work on this project. I've had an idea to make the whole concept you represented a little more subtle and based my logo on simple shapes. Rather than making a whole labyrinth I've decided to make a small circular shapes which looks like a maze, the outlines on the circles are getting lighter and lighter as the maze is coming to an end appealing on the struggle addicts go through as they are on therapy. At the end of the maze the caracter is at it's full enlightenment state. I've added a shape which resembles butterfly wings to put an accent on the end of the path. Have a look at #93 and let me know what you think about it. Have a nice day.
