Contest Brief

Hi Everyone,

I need a logo designed for our start up business. The target audience are between the age of 16-25 so it needs to be edgy and have a real impact. It needs to be strong and bold....it needs to engage and draw people in..... It needs to interpret networking, social media, movement, evolving, revolution...ect....It also needs to be professional as its targeting corporations. We are a social/educational site ....NOT Government...we are not a boring site....:)
I have attached a file with a design (picture) that I would like to incorporate into the logo - however the image needs to be slightly changed as we can't copy it. ITS JUST AN IDEA and concept.....but it represents who we are....
We can change some of the symbols to the following (reflecting different industries) for example buildings, books, microphone, medical ect....
We like the following colours, black, lime green and purple.....however open to suggestions.
Please note: there could be repetitive business out of this as we may require further marketing material in the future.

We will require all files for print, banner ect
And we expect to all have complete rights to the logo.
Please, if you do not agree to these terms then this is not a project for you. :)

using social sites icons are not allowed in any logo . They are not to be produced without their owners permission

  Yes agree, hence why I stipulated in my brief that the symbols need to be changed....they need to be original symbols...I gave examples of symbols to create...not to copy....not sure everyone read the brief ....

Hi there. I saw the entries and just thought that incorporating the social media icons to your logo is not a good idea as each of them has their own rights of use. Thanks and have a nice day!

  Your correct, I have just spent some time reading the terms and policies for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, Google +
  They all indicate that you can NOT under any circumstances use their logo as part of your own.
  You cant even legally perform any manipulation of the logo such as adjusting the colour, rotation etc.

Hi Fiona,
As I understand you need a cluster or signs and symbols like the one that you have attached, to be a part of your logo. Do you also need that hands, not like exactly same but in some other form? Also, is it possible to give the name of your startup? That might help the imagination a bit more :)

  Hi Jaichitnis, Thanks for your message.
  The company is called "Mojo Network". I would prefer the logo NOT to have the hands...The symbols should represent different industries...such as communications, construction, medical, human resources, chefs, entertainment, office workers...ect....I hope this information helps... The colours need to be bold and not faded (if that makes any sense? :)
