Contest Brief

Hi - we are looking to start a new music festival called Cool Sounds. This event is held in a cold climate region of Australia and it will be something very new - incorporating mainstream artists and local new artists. The tag line is 'rug up and chill out'. We are looking for something laid back, classic. The event is similar to http://www.lostpicnic.net/ and http://splendourinthegrass.com/ but not as alternative
We are looking for something hip and edgy but still appealing to the target market of 30 year olds+. The area is relatively wealthy, very leafy, rural.
The event will be run over two days with camping available.
As this is very early days there isn't a lot of information so please ask any questions if required. This is likely to be only a temporary logo but we would be happy to work with the winner to develop the final as the event starts to take shape. Thanks

It is basically mainstream pop and rock but nothing too heavy...laid back (mostly Australian artists)
