COLORS: Decided not to give any color ideas. Let me see what you can do! :) No pinks/purples. The producer is a male.
The idea is that the company's music services are out of this world. Cosmic. Spacey. Like the idea of meteor with fiery music trail. No clipart.
Let me see your ideas! Yours might be better. :)
I need a logo for a music producer.
This logo should be neat, clean and professional. We need something that will stand out. Not looking for anything corporate.
Will be used on Internet, flyers, business cards etc.
I need to receive full copyright to use logo as needed.
You may retain the right to use it in your portfolio.

Hi Ms CH if your logo design brief stated that it should be cosmic, with metroer trails I think blurry and gradient effect would fit that criteria. Unless you change your design brief so designers would be able to understand what you are looking for and they will be on the right track.

Anything done well will be considered, but I find that many will overuse gradients and drop shadow effects incorrectly and it comes off a bit cheesy. Hope that helps to make things clearer! :)

Honestly, I would prefer a logo without a slogan. Something bold, clean and fresh. It will be easier to add it to business cards, on tee shirt pockets, etc.
