Contest Brief

I'm looking for a logo for my new record label, 'Delmonico Records'.
The primary styles of upcoming releases are Funk, Soul, Rock 'n' Roll, plus other vintage styles, and potentially some reissues of classic materials.
In some ways, think of this as a mix between a classic label design, and a hotel logo design.

Within the Design:
* It can contain the words 'Delmonico' or 'Delmonico Records'. If you go for the latter, make sure to place the emphasis on 'Delmonico', whether it be a bigger size, or placed above, etc.
* An image to go with the text would be great, I was thinking something resembling a grand building/hotel, with a crown incorporated/above it in some way (although the crown isn't necessary).
* If possible, the image (and potentially even the text) could fit into an emblem/shape.
* I like art-deco style lines and shapes as extraneous design to go around the image/text, but nothing too cluttered.

Style Guide:
* Primarily, I'm looking for something Art-Deco and chic, and also classic, timeless, and with a simple elegant. Nothing too gimmicky, or overly retro (like worn out effects, etc). More grand and serious than fancy is what I'm going for.
* I think regal, royal colours would work best, however, the logo should also be able to work in black and white too.
* Overall, something that looks like it could fit in with the more serious/elaborate logos on the attached sheet.

Technical Specifications:
* I want the file submitted in a format where I can edit the layers on Photoshop
* It should be suitably vectorised so I can play with the size and change it without decreasing quality.

Consider that the logo will be on CD's and Vinyl discs, meaning that having an image of a vinyl record as the majority of the design really doesn't work for this
