Contest Brief

I need a very nice logo in good size, good dpi and as JPG as well as PNG transparent background.
The business is a news and media business but the logo doesn't necessarily have to show that and I am more likely to go for a design the more professional it looks. But if you are to include images, the business deals in video and images across the world and I will leave your imagination to run wild.
Colours I would probably prefer to see are blue, green, gold and white. Again, not necessarily those altogether, just whatever works. I'm trying to avoid reds and browns.

      It's best if your lettering for news was the same as the one for evolve. I'm not too fond of the symbols you've designed though to be perfectly honest, something a bit simpler and maybe has something to do with news or just a nice combination of a few nice colours with gradients

    Let me just post a few quick links from a site I sometimes look to for a bit of inspiration on nice designs. These are the kind of logos that look nice to me. I like the idea of the world done in the way it is in #42 . The company name doesn't have to be very big, the symbol can be of a similar size or slightly bigger.

    I think logos which have a symbol or design outside of the company name often appear to look nicer. Unless there is a smart way to write the name. But in general, I liked design #15 and I liked the originality behind #1 too. As for fonts, I think #15 's font is good as well as the "evolve" part of #2
