Contest Brief

I am interested in logo design for a small business providing travel consulting and booking services. The business name is 'OAR Travel' and specializes in "water-based" travel including commercial ocean cruises, and smaller, localized, adventure trips such as river kayaking, etc. (note: other travel needs are served as well).

I really like the concept of the logo found here: http://www.branding10000lakes.com/Oar-Lake; however, I certainly don't want to infringe upon copyright or intellectual property of that artist, and encourage new creativity over duplication/copying of this logo. I provide it for context only to show an example of something I stumbled upon and think is very well done.

I am looking for clean lines and a simple design, as well as something that will work equally well for use on our website, letterhead and printed materials, and other branded items.
