Contest Brief

The Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2014. As part of this a number of activities, souvenir products and celebrations are being planned.

The ABA is seeking a graphic designer to produce a 50th anniversary logo that will be used for both online and offline collateral during 2014. The logo will be used in conjunction with our existing national logo (above in this document).

The 50th anniversary logo requirements:
- Colour and mono versions
- Suitable for use on a wide variety of materials; including print, online, textiles, metal and ceramics.
- Suitable to be used in sizes from ‘postage stamp’ to billboard.
- Able to be used in conjunction with our existing logo.

A 50th anniversary is a golden anniversary, please consider using gold in your design, the teal is not essential.

This anniversary is a significant opportunity to position the organisation as a modern, innovaticv, approachable. It is an opportunity to use new design elements in the logo so please don't be constrained by the existing logo.

Some questions here :

1. Could you please inform us the event's logo wording (exact words / phrase)? And also please state in case there's tagline / slogan that need to be included in the logo.

2. What is the age range of ABA's target customer base? And what is the targeted age range of this event?

  The tagline is still be determined.
  The age range of target demographic is primarily mothers - 18-45years.
  I am really looking for some interesting design elements - creating movement, symbolising a journey and a generational change.
  I am keen to see some bright colours.
