Contest Brief

We are creating a series of software tools under the brand name Pikamagic and would like to have a logo created for branding of the software. We tried this before but the previous artist just provided clip art mashed together. What we want is a cartoon pika (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pika) perched up on the words "Pikamagic" (we like the font Maiandra GD, but are open to others that are whimsical but easy to read).

I have attached a drawing I've done to give you an idea of what we are looking for when we say "cartoon pika"

  All of your submissions where clip art thrown together, the previous artist used the same clip art wizard hat. We're not looking for clip art just slapped together and have an emboss added.

  My designs were all created from scratch which took me three hours to do.
  No worries though, I'll try and come up with something different. Guess I better check and see how many wizards hats are out there and try and draw another that's unique.

I won't make it Guaranteed due to our previous attempt at getting a logo, the designer chosen just threw together clip art and didn't provide any original work which required us to contest the project and made things take a lot longer than it should have. We are already behind our deadline for this now because of that and the contest seemed to be a good way to see if the artist understands the direction we really want to go.
