Contest Brief
Hi designers
WHAT I NEED:
A logo designed for a new online store selling equipment and apparel for skiing and snowboarding.
The store name is ‘Snoworthy’.
The tag line is ‘equipment and apparel for the mountains’.
THE DESIGN:
I’m after a unique logo that will appeal to my target audience and not look out of place amongst existing outdoor, ski and snowboard brands.
The store will sell only high quality products and the logo should give this impression.
I am open to the use of sentence case, lower case or uppercase and do not have a preference regarding the use of any colours.
Given the nature of the online store; mountains, snow/snowflakes, tree(s) or an animal found in the snow may be relevant to be incorporated into the design, but are by no means necessary or mandatory.
Please feel free to be as creative as you like – I am not a designer and want to avoid being prescriptive!

REQUIREMENTS:
• A version of the logo with and without the tag line.
• Both versions in colour, gray scale and black & white.
• The winning logo supplied in a suite of file types.
*I’ll require both versions of the winning logo (with and without the tagline) supplied in colour, gray scale and black & white in a suite of file formats including a working design file and vector file – This will be discussed with the winning designer.
HOW THE LOGO WILL BE USED:
The logo will be prominently included on each page of the online store.
In addition to selling existing ski and snowboard brands, I also plan to sell branded ‘Snoworthy’ gear, so the logo also needs to be suitable for the physical branding of gear such as bags, t-shirts and jackets.
In addition to these purposes the logo should also be suitable for use on printed material such as business cards, flyers, posters, banners, etc.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
16 to 50 year old predominately males who are interested in skiing and snowboarding.
