We want a logo for a website called THEGATE.AE

The website is an Investors window to the UAE.

It will have all necessary information needed if an investor is thinking about moving from another country to the united arab emirates
it will include information about
Banks
LAwyers
Local rules and regulations and many more. basically it is an encyclopedia for investors to the UAE

The logo should be web2.0 yet it should have a corporate and BUSINESS feel to it.

Colors are no restriction but we prefer corporate colors like blue

@vjkatashi... Contest holder asked for straight design, maybe! But that straight design CANNOT be my element, or anything near it! I never do or did that to anyone, neither in sealed or in open contests. It's like me posting my first door post, and the whole world started to do doors. I was asked specifically to do that building, and I was asked if it was an original or copied, I answered straight forward and said, this is 100% unique and illustrated by me, explaining the other elements to get that result, that element/tower DO NOT EXIST BUT HERE!!.. What ever.. I will make it easier, and sorry to quote you back:

"Don't be depressed.... Take a cool breath and storm your mind then come up with an idea. That's how a designer should do."

Right??

  but contest holder told me to do BURJ Khalifah Silloutte in the same way with my designs.
  and there is only one BURJ Khalifah Silloutte.
  I tried to find another BURJ Khalifah Silloutte but I couldn't find it.

  You don't have to be sorry vjkatashi.. #157 and #158 has the same tower! Why I didn't complain about it? It has nothing to do with mine my friend! Specially the inner strips! There are ready made Burj Khalifa out there, free stock and paid stock and none of them are near mine.. It is really ok! I am the one whos sorry for participating in such contests.. You are cool

We realized that the lack of SEALED option allowed most of the users including the winner to copy DADIABLO's concept. Which is not fair we will be buying Diablo's logo as well for the same amount as a thank you token.

  Hello Ramie.. I have received the payment!! And you really didn't have to!! But like you said sealing the contest would make it harder and harder for the entrants. Sealing contest will get you the best results and will make it very hard competition tho.. But some people and sorry to say use the sealed contests in a very bad way, so they can post their ripped/stock elements hoping that they won't get noticed by others.. like #7 and the following link:

  Hi, basically when we looked again at the logos we realised that your logo which is great, but it shows a BLOCK or a PRISON gate. while what we want is a PASSTHROUGH. our gate is a WAY TO SOMETHING. not a BLOCK from something.
