Contest Brief
I need a logo for a new website called Tripnik. Tripnik is a website where adventurous and backpack travellers can plan their trip for exotic destinations like Asia, Africa and South America. Some features of the website:
Plan your itinerary with friends
Browse/Search other user's trip itinerary
Get your itinerary automatically optimized
Find out what is the best way to get from one place to the next
Get an estimated cost for your whole itinerary and track your expenses
Automatically find tours from locals based on attractions selected
I want a logo that is simple and clean. I don't like cartoons, photorealistic or 3D style logos. The word "Tripnik" needs to be in the logo and readable, but the logo could also be used without the wording and it could still identify the company (similar to the Freelancer logo: if you remove the work "freelancer" you can still identify the company with the blue bird).

I removed the "clever logo" from the brief because I think most logos were going in the wrong directions. I am not a big fan of all the pin, plane, birds in general. Only a few with 3 stars got it somewhat right. Please try without trying to have a clever logo or any of those elements. I want something simple and clean but also appealing visually. Sorry for being so difficult ;) Good luck everybody!
