Contest Brief
I am looking for a logo for an investment business that is called “Value Capital Partners” or “VCP” for short. The business invest capital in buying business involved in technology, healthcare, information technology, software and business services.
The business has been founded by people who put people first. We want to build a business that is principals based. We hold this concept dearly and as part of the business we will have a foundation that will be built in parallel with our main investment business.
The word value is important because not only does it convey value from the return on capital invested in the business it stands for all value(s) including social value, cultural values, and people values. These include integrity, respect, accountability, courage, leadership, openness, honesty, teamwork. We seek to build environments and intuitions that are free from resignation and cynicism where every person can be a leader.
I am looking for a logo that tries to incorporate some of this. Maybe uses the VCP components, maybe has a logo. I will want to follow on with business cards and ultimately some websites etc. also. As a start I am looking for some help in getting a logo up to begin with. The logo should be clean and professional.

perhaps people could take a look at this. there are a lot of entries that just dont look at all special or well thought through.

i am looking for something that is simple, elegant and perhaps timeless. some of the multicoloured (orange and light blue) things just dont work at all.

hey there - please make sure that you have not been rejected before trying to submit designs. i am trying to save both my time and certain freelancers by actually rejecting some freelancers which means that you will not be able to submit. i do appreciate the effort from those who have been rejected but i have rejected some on the basis of their submissions being too far away from what i would want.
