Contest Brief

We need a logo for the website we are about to develop, "Vewwpoint". The logo needs to be modern and simple. It is preferred if the logo is red or light purple. The site will be for a question and answer site, the logo hence cannot be too professional. It would be also preferred if the symbol was to the left of the word.

The logo needs to be either red or purple, not both red and purple. It could also have different shades, e.g. the V would be a darker red or purple than the rest of the logo.

Do not include ".com" in the logo.

"Vewwpoint" is derived from the word viewpoint which means different views or opinions, the logo needs to represent this concept.

Feel free to try out different ideas instead of just arrows, they are not working for me.

Could also try out a purple background and have the logo white instead. Please also stop using arrows, there have been too many entries with arrows that are almost exactly the same. I have attached a few logos which have font or designs that i like, the current font used by most of the logos are not unique enough. Please also try to not use arrows.

  An improvement would be to have only one line from the middle of the V instead of 2 but even then it still does not have enough relationship to views, opinions or perspectives.

  #119 The font does not look good and the arrow is not well integrated.
  #121 That arrow looks very much like a devil tail which doesn't fit with the concept of different views or opinions.

  The arrow is not integrated with the logo and at the moment it would look better without the arrow. But then it would have no relation to the concept of "Viewpoint". It is also much too professional looking.
