Contest Brief

We are innovative wearable technology startup. We prides ourselves in developing some of the world's smallest wearable technologies (similar to fitbit) that are not only unique based on size, but also because of the superior functionality and accuracy; the comfort and wearability of our products; and, the integration of fashionable designs. In fact, for all of the above reasons, we like to think of ourselves more as a smart accessories company rather than a wearable technology company in keeping with our vision not to develop wearable technology, but to embed technology into the things we wear everyday.

We are very critically assessing how to brand ourselves moving forward as a game-changer in the wearable technology market.

Currently, we are looking for a new corporate logo that not only encompasses how we differentiate ourselves in the wearable space - developing among the world's smallest wearable's and integrating fashion into our designs - we also want to be able to brand all of our current and future products with this logo as a symbol of authenticity, quality, and style. We are looking to use eye-catching vibrant colours that speak to fashion and technology (blue, green, turquoise, etc.). As the same time, this logo has to still look sharp in black and white, and when engraved or embossed onto our products. Think of how major fashion and jewelry designers brand their accessories and apparel, or how major electronics companies like Samsung and Apple brand their products - we very much want to accomplish the same type of brand equity/recognition, but be somewhere in the middle between technology and fashion.

    Further to my last post, we really want the logo to symbolize fashion and technology is some way. As much as we develop wearable technologies, this is not the name of our company and we want to brand ourselves as more of a smart accessory company instead. We develop some of the world's smallest wearable technologies and we embed them into fashionable accessories that people wear everyday. Most of the logo's submitted are the letter W which really does not depict fashion and technology, nor does it depict our company. We are looking for something more abstract and symbolic. As of right now, none of the logo's submitted are get us excited or align with what we are looking for. We welcome anyone to redesign and resubmit if you have anything more creative!

    Thank you to everyone for your submissions. As mentioned in the project brief, we are looking for a corporate logo we can use online and also to brand our products. Much like how jewelry companies engrave all their jewelry with their logo or similar to how Apple brands all its products with it's apple logo.
