Design a Logo for web/print/mobile icon

Contest Brief

I have a website and app called thiscity.me

I want a simple flat logo designed. This logo will serve as an ios app icon, a web logo and may be used in print.

I have attached my current logo and app icon.

The colours I want to use are the blue background image attached, as well as the orange that is used in the current logo. If you want to vary from this is fine. I'm not 100% sold on those colours or even those shades of colour. Feel free to experiment.

I'm really moving towards a flat design and a new logo is the start.

One idea I had in mind was a simple street lamp. Like a 2d flat design. Not sure if that would work. It's only one idea and just something I playing around with. I do not want all of the entries to be street lamp entries. If you come up with something unique, you have a better chance of standing out!

Try designing the ios logo first. Something nice and compact might help the direction
