Contest Brief

Design a logo for our new startup "yardsey". Must be simple in design yet modern.

Site is a social networking site for online classifieds and is community based.

Our site colour scheme utilises the following colours: #BBEE66 #88AA22 #008888 #005566 #554444
We would like the logo designed using the green based colours.

We need a web optimised version plus a print media version. If you use any special fonts you need to provide us with the font files also.

Some more guidelines (added 28/8)

We prefer lowercase letters and dont really like symbols that have no tie to our business.

we like the look of quite a few of the logos so far but some may not work on our website (See comment below). If you have used colours/shapes in background make sure they are not so high that the company name ends up being too small. We will reject anything we don't like but anything we like the look of we will leave there even if it doesn't really meet these needs - you can resubmit new versions based on this if you like

Just a bit more clarification. This logo needs to be displayed on our website in an area that is 40 pixels high and has a white background so the logo must look good in this space.
