Contest Brief

We are in the process of re-designing our website, and we have a preliminary mockup of our product page. We are happy with the elements and the placement of elements, but we want someone to incorporate branding/personality into the design (the colours, fonts, icons, and all design elements should come together to brand the website and give it a certain personality/feeling that matches our company).

IMPORTANT INFO
What we do: Our company makes and sells software for non-profit organizations to manage their data, at an affordable price. Our customers are mainly small and mid-sized nonprofits in social services, arts, etc. Read more here: sumac.com
Our personality: We go above and beyond to help non-profits. We are friendly, provide exceptional customer service, and are honest (don't hide anything).
The website: The website should reflect our personality. It should be friendly, clean, bright, happy, simple, non-corporate – it should give people the impression that we are good, trustworthy company with a big heart, and easy to work with.
Colours: bright blue, bright green, and at least two other colours of your choice.
Logo: Can be changed *very slightly* to go along with the website design concept if needed.

FILES ATTACHED:
1. A mock-up of our product page. This should be used so you understand the elements we want included and the placement of those elements.
2. Our current logo.

To everybody: we liked all designs. What we have done is asked 10 people what would be their favorite - this is how the winner was chosen (4 out of 10). Another question that we asked people what do they like from each design. We are using this feedback while creating our website. People liked:
- clear chanks (sections)
- simplicity (not cluttered)
- symmetry
- the whole thing should be easy on eyes
- calls to action easily readable
- messages - right into your face
- pictures of people's faces

To the contest holder, #2 is a mockup, it can be modified according to your needs and it's capable of adding multiple features. In addition to that let me say that is Responsive, it means that the design adapts to different browser sizes, so it is mobile friendly. Regards.-
