Contest Brief

Who we are...
Lightbox Films is a growing video production company that has been running for almost 8 years. We are well established but looking to update our online presence to match our new logo and branding. Lightbox Films specializes in high definition commercial, corporate, music video, real estate and broadcast work. We also do editing and motion graphics work and have an ever expanding 3D portfolio.

What we need...
We need a new web site design (for web and mobile devices) that reflects the quality of our work but also the fun and creative attitude of our people. We can provide branding colours and logo as well as sample video content and team photos for the website.

The design and interface should be:
Innovative
Clean
Contemporary
Sleek
Fun
Easy to use and navigate
Flexible to add to
Work within a HTML 5 design implementation
And appears bespoke or custom.

We will need multiple pages as part of the final design. Our current website can be used as an indication of the number of pages and Type of content we need but we want to the pages to stand out as we do not like the layout at all currently.

Much of the design must centre around video content. Our videos typically have two sizes that we use on the website. 640x360 and 1280x720

We are open to any design ideas and want you to be creative in what you do. We like websites that have large photo or visual backgrounds or a strong production feel and polished finish however the right design will be fun and professional and say a lot about what we do and the quality of work we produce through the look rather than just the text content. The website should be designed in a way that allows for people to get information quickly and then get more information if they require.

We are happy to provide more information, feedback and branding elements to anyone that wants to email us.

  Hi, This is too close to our current design and very template driven. We do like the row of icons at the top but not a enough focus on it being a new design.
