Contest Brief

Our business / site name is Simple TV Connect (.com) and we sell specialty cables and connectors for audio and video gear. We also have tutorials, many of which are youtube based, that teach you how to setup AV equipment, or how to buy and get the best value, etc.

We need a 3 page page design with logo, that is wordpress suitable. Mockups are fine, but anyone going the extra mile - mobile designs as well as desktop , or actual html - get higher preference.

The pages are as follows:

1) frontpage. Need top banner and nav, prominent search bar, product preview mini gallery, and some nice way to show the blog /tutorials
2) a nice tutorial gallery that can hold a strong horizontal image, and some text, possibly a video
3) a simple product grid, with a couple of categories, and a product menu

We like http://www.ifixit.com, http://bildr.org, and http://www.dcables.net (we're actually partners with dcables). Please don't steal, but some sort of mixture of the 3, would be nice, if you are looking for a direction. We recognize you are the artists, and your creativity will outdo anything we've mentioned, so experiment and have fun.

If you can develop them theme in php and wordpress, mention it and send us your portfolio. Even if you don't win, we might hire you to code what does.

We'll also be putting your contact info, logo etc on the bottom of the site, if you want.
