JobFile Advertisement Specifications:

The following requirements are for information purposes. The layout and design colours fonts, background etc need to ensure that this advert will look highly professional in a glossy magazine...Also please refer to the guidelines for the ads technical requirements (see below). Our company JobFile provides an online service to coordinate construction companies, builders, trades people, subcontractors and suppliers such as hardware, timber, bricks, plumbers. Our market is Australia (for the moment) so images (if any) need to be relevant to our market (not the American). Building companies use the service to communicate and share information such as project schedules, documents, purchase orders, designs, plans, letters etc. Trades people, subcontractors, suppliers use it to view their upcoming work commitments and details about the jobs and tasks assigned to them. They update, accept, reject and make notes about the work, and this information is communicated to the construction companies controlling the work.

Our target audience for this advertisement is big construction companies - the builder side of the transaction.

We will select the contest winner and contact them with edits and minor revisions to adjust language, spelling and some minor preference changes to layout.

We're happy to see what people come up with, but we're aiming to cover the following points.

1. Logo top center (attached as jobfile.ai)
2. Three short questions under logo in main body:

4. Contact details bottom left hand corner
5. Large call to action bottom right hand corner

    If stock photos are required, please include details on pricing and licence - as this will factor into our decision. We might compare one option with additional license costs, and one without and decide that the extra money will be well spent. If this is the case - it is something that we will need to do to make the purchase and then when the licensed image is provided - the contest winner would need to produce a final output with it in.

    I actually bought the stock image i used in my submission from shutterstock at no extra charge...i have an account, unfortunately my design was rejected.

    The pictures should predominantly be less corporate people and more about trades and supervisors of Residential homebuilding. Pictures of large commercial or civil projects does not identify with our primary target for this campaign

    THe call to action which should say "Go To www.getjobfile.com" is generally not prominent enough. Our telephone and other contact details should only appear in small font and be relatively discrete.
