Contest Brief

I need a new icon for an Android Solar PV app that I'm writing. I would like for the icon to fit in nicely with the design of existing Android app icons. The icon must be clean, bright and professional and look good on a light and dark background. The icon needs to look good in all the standard Android icon sizes including the high resolution web version (512x512, 192x192, 144x144, 96x96, 72x72, 48x48, 36x36). The design of the icon should be related to Solar PV, so things like solar panels or the sun although something more abstract and maybe colourful would also be well received. Examples of icons that I like are the Timely app, Google Maps app, PV Output app, Fotovoltaico Free app and can be seen at play.google.com. I'm not looking for icons that would look more in keeping with iOS.

Thanks for the submissions so far. We're not crazy about chrome borders or really any borders actually and would like to see some more colour. The Timely app icon is my favourite Android app icon (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ch.bitspin.timely), but also something simple that stands out and looks good very small and large like the pvoutput icon (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=au.id.mcdonalds.pvoutput) would be welcome.
