Contest Brief

I am developing a game for the Android platform that will be a text based role playing game (RPG) - genre is sports and theme is Wrestling.

I am considering different options for the GUI layout and welcome some design suggestions that would be suitable.

The orientation is to be Portrait.

You have complete freedom with the ideas but these are some core elements that I want to be considered within your design - these are by no means full and final and please feel free to add you own thoughts.

The project will be titled "Tap Champ Wrestling" so please keep this consistent throughout.

I would like the winning design made available in a layered .PSD file so I can amend them at will if required once the contest is over.

Please post questions if further clarifications are needed - I will comment on all designs to give instruction on what I like and what I don't in order to provide further direction.

  It is a very good start. Landscape is fine for now as I can amend it later.
  
  Could you perhaps try adding a faint (transparent) diagonal background logo of the text "TCW" to see how that would look.
  
  I would be interested also to see any other layout ideas you have or improvements you have thought about since submitting.

You can use any background image for the purpose of this design - i am more interested in finding a good GUI layout.

This would be for the main home screen of the game, where all the current stats and progress are seen and the elements of the are navigated from.

I am a fine or darker colour, black on red etc but dont feel limited to those.

This contest is more to do with the GUI layout, button/menu/bar placement than that actual graphics themselves as these will be designed around a good layout.

Go mad and be creative, if i look your work then i will hire you directly for the next phase of the project.

Do we have to add a background image also? Is this main menu or general gameplay buttons only? ( I also make games, so I know what is needed for GUI). Is there a specific style or color that you prefer?

There is no current existing design, hence this post. The designer has freedom over the layout using the required elements.
