Contest Brief

The job portal we are opening has 2 sections. Kazikazi and Kazi Portal. Each needs a logo that is related to the other (design wise) but Kazi Kazi is tailored towards the masses (uneducated, unskilled labor) and Kazi Portal is directed towards Corporate clients.

I am attaching some documentation to explain the company business model which has samples of other similar website.

Kazi Kazi
This logo will be mostly shown to poor people looking for a job who have very few or no qualifications. The aim of the company is to help these kind of people build a CV so that they have a chance at getting a job. The logo must be of simple to read design and the viewer should recognize it even if they can not read. We like the idea of chalk and chalk board designs for this, but are open to suggestions. Perhaps chalk board would make it look too much like a college or school. Perhaps the letters can come alive and be people working or something.

Kazi Portal
This is the ONLINE portal which will be used by larger companies to hire unskilled labor. For example, a large mining company HR person may want to hire 200 cleaners. This brand needs to be crisp and corporate, but still be linked via color or design to the Kazi Kazi logo so the two companies are linked and their logo's will not clash on the website/marketing.

This contest is for the logo and will give us many ideas of which direction to go. If we like the work of a particular artist then we can go ahead with the bigger projects of stationary, marketing, posters, etc.

The winning design will:
- Show signs of professionalism in their language
- Have some great previous artwork to back up their repertoire
- Understand the requirement of the company as detailed above
- Capture elements of: recruitment, mass marketing to unskilled labor, scalability of design (kazi kazi logo shouldn't be very difficult to recreate)
- Link the 2 logo's with a unique element using your creativity

if you don't like entry means give lower rating or just leave it. What is the reason to rejected our entries. This is a contest OK. Just because of your rejection i lose 100 credits and more XP points. This is absolutely not fair.

  stay away from baby blue colors or green as they look like NGO's or UN companies. Electric Blue, white, orange, anything really. As long as it matches the logo.

  For some reason my partners really like these logo's, but I'm worried that it looks too much like people are sitting down. We have a problem of people being lazy in this country and we need the logo to look more active. So perhaps if you can tweak these KK men to be more active then it would be more appealing. Thanks for the submission though.
