  By the way I am also working on the next version where I am thinking of modifying the event icons, as in my opinion the black ones are not looking that good with the design. As far as the overall design, I think I won`t change it as this is an email template and it should be kept very simple which is easy to read by the recipient.

  I tried replacing the black event icons provided with different coloured ones. But that is not looking good. I mean the colour icons are not mixing with the design and also it distracts the eyes.
