Hello, we need you to do two tasks:
1) Design a logo for our new brand
2) Design the label for our first product
Below we explain our vision for each task:
Brand Name: RAW
Design a logo for a new natural foods company called ‘Raw’. We want a simple and clean logo that immediately shows the brands promise ‘natural, unprocessed food & drink’. Our brands target audience is mostly women, aged between 20 - 50, who may already be into health foods and fitness or be trying to lose weight. That being said we do not want to exclude men so the brand must also attract males in the same age range. Our first product due to launch is a 100% raw organic coconut oil.
The logo you design with be used to sell our brand, on our website and on our product packaging, the logo should be versatile so it can be used for various healthy food and drink products in the future. The logo should be designed using natural colours: greens, olive, browns, white, grey.
I cannot emphasise enough that the logo must remain simple and clean, we will not have any tag lines or anything else that distracts away from the name, ‘Raw’.
Product Label Design:
LABLE SIZE: 240mm x 70mm (please see [login to view URL] in attached folder)
Design our first product label, the product is a 100% raw organic coconut oil. Attached to this project is a ZIP file, in here you will see we have put other brands examples in a folder called ‘Examples’. This is what our glass jar will look like.
The middle of the label should include the logo that you designed from the details above, it also needs to include the following text in a large & clear font:
- ‘Organic Extra Virgin’
- ‘Pure Coconut Oil’
- ‘500ml℮’ (the e is a estimated sign or sometimes called the e-mark)
The middle should fill 1/3rd of the label
On the right side of the label we need to include the ‘nutritional information’ - please see [login to view URL] in the attached ZIP file, you can use the same information for this section. Under the nutritional information please include:
- ‘Ingredients: 100% Organic Raw Coconut Oil’
- Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place. Coconut Oil is solid below 25°C. At temperatures above this coconut oil will melt, this is a natural occurrence.’
- ‘Raw Foods Ltd, 5 Knowle Business Units, Exeter, Devon, EX2 8HJ’
- ‘[login to view URL]
- ‘Best before date see bottom of jar’
The right side should fill 1/3rd of the label
On the left side of the label we need to include the following information:
- ’100% Organic’
- ‘100% Raw’
- No Cholesterol
- Gluten Free
- Lactose Free
- Cold Pressed
- No Additives
Under this information please include a bar code (any example will do for now)
Also on the left of the label we need to include the following paragraph of text:
‘This is a 100% pure form of virgin coconut oil. It can be used in cooking, baking, frying and added raw to recipes and meals. Coconut oil has long been recognised as a healthy nutrition option and is equally kind to the outside of your body as a skin or hair conditioner.
Coconut oil is known as an ‘energy fat’, embraced by dieters, athletes, and body builders. Rich is Lauric acid (about 50%), coconut oil is processed in the liver where it is converted directly into energy. Coconut oil is anti-viral, antibacterial, and anti-fungal. Coconut oil can provide a quick boost in energy and the valuable medium chain triglycerides will help reduce inflammation and strengthen immunity.

Finally, under this information we must include the ‘EU Organic’ logo for legal reasons. Please use the logo in the attached ZIP file called [login to view URL] and under the logo please put ’Non-EU Agriculture’. Not that the organic logo must be minimum 9mm height and 13.5mm width for law, also it must have a small white border around the logo.
The left side should fill 1/3rd of the label
