Contest Brief
Project Specs:
We currently have a temporary logo for one of 3 organizations. While we be contracting the winner of this contest to create a slightly revised version of this logo, this is what should be followed for this contest as your “inspiration” - ideally, all 3 logos will work together and have similarities but not look like 3 versions of the same logo.
see file attached for example of what we mean by that
All 3 logos will share the color green and the same font. If more than one color or font is used, it does not need to be the same.
Colors - if using green (or gray) should be the same greens and gray as our current style guide for Life-SEQ, the parent company
See file attached for color codes
We anticipate 3 rounds of revisions but reserve the right that there may be more
Logo designs should be simple and elegant as is the temporary CGA logo
No clip art should be used
Each logo will have 2 versions - one with the letters only and then one with the letters and the full name of the organization. This is not necessary for this contest, we will contract the winner to create these at an hourly rate or set budget. For this contest, we ask that you only do one or the other.
Logos should work in black & white as well as color.

Notes for what to avoid:
The decision makers don't seem to like anything to literal - ie an obvious "gene" or DNA strand icon
Additional work will likely be provided to the contest winner based on quality work.
