Contest Brief

I want an invitation designed for a charity dinner. Our major prize is a luxury adventure cruise. We want that theme running in the invitation design. The design is for 1/3 of A4 (DL) in size. The final approved design is required to be formatted ready to send to the printer in high resolution.

I want a design that incorporates a antique map and antique compass (to denote the adventure) and the wording "Your adventure begins here...
Dinner at the Captain's Table" using an old script or copperplate Font, in keeping with a luxury, old world style.

I will award merit to those entries I like and encourage other entrants to work using these designs. I will need to award the winner in 7 days (No later than the 18th) and will require finished artwork no later than 24 to 48 hours later. If you cannot meet these deadlines, please do not enter.

I like entries 17; 16; 21; & 19 I especially like the way entry no 18 has faded the map out around the writing, Well done everyone!!!

Entry No 16.... You're on the money!!! Thank you. The background is soft and the writing stands out as the main attraction!! I also really like the font!!! Can you make a small change so that Dinner at the Captain's Table is the larger font. The Adventure is to be just a little bit smaller

I like the colour of Entry No 5 Anatomicana. I like the map and style of Entry no 1, Eternatanthems. I like the writing in Entry No 3 and No 6. Im looking for Elegance, Travel, Adventure, Luxury The writing needs to be prominent with the world map and compas etc more a suggestion Thanks everyone
