Contest Brief

Hi,

We are looking to get tea towels designed.
Our brand is Gaelic Girl Goodies - a range of Irish bread mixes that sell in the airports for tourists to Ireland.

We are looking for a good tea towel design that will go into our gift sets.

Our logo is attached to give you an idea of what the brand feels like.

We need something that is Irish, but cute and animated, similar to our Gaelic Girl Irish logo.

The design will be around an Irish kitchen - where our girl has the bread baking on the fire.

It should also include our Gaelic saying (as below):

May you have tea beside the fire
Butter in your bowl
Bread on the table
And laughter in your soul

(With this saying in mind, the design should have an Irish fireplace with a pot of tea near it, butter and bread on the kitchen table).

It should represent a cosy, warm Irish kitchen and our Gaelic Girl is the style of animation around it.

Our main logo is attached under - 1 GG Main Logo.
Other styles of the logo is attached, but does not need to be included, just as a guideline for the animation of the breads/kitchen place.

I am also attaching some images of a traditional Irish kitchen in both animated and non animated form to help give you an idea of what we're looking for in an animated style. I know the quality isn't great in some of these, but I am having a hard time getting the exact images I am looking for.

I ended up choosing #35 as I just liked the way the layout was with the wording and background. It genuinely was very tough - so many great designs from everyone!

Thank you again to everyone for your submissions. We are getting closer with the kitchen/fire and making it look like a traditional Irish kitchen. I am going to try and source more images to get closer to this and give you all more direction. I will post them as attachments to the brief when I get them up.

The illustrator file will print best for us - but if it can be converted to PDF/Photoshop as well, that would be great.

What we're looking for is both the saying (which is on the brief) and a setting of our girl with her breads in an Irish kitchen setting. For some reason I am unable to add files here, so I am attaching some images of what an Irish cottage/fireside etc. looks like to give you a guideline.
