Design Two Logos for Church Choirs

Contest Brief

One Church (Anglican, Church of England), two choirs (a Youth Choir and an Adult Choir). There is no logo or identity for the Church per se, and the current makeshift logos can be seen on the website at www.halstead-church.org/choirs-music-st-margarets.

We need TWO separate logos, but preferably with some consistent element to show they are of the same Church. The logos need to be clean, imaginative and simple, but retain a sense of religious tradition and obvious musicality. If there is a common logo element to both designs, then we will use this as the overall music emblem for the Church, and potentially have it embroidered / printed onto new choir folders etc. Please contact me if you need any further clarification of details.

The successful entries will also be able to produce high quality letterheads (details will be provided), and will at least provide us with vector rescalable images as well as rendered JPGs, PNGs etc. and full copyright over the images will belong to the Church.

A winner will only be chosen if we find any worthy designs. Future design work may come out of this, and we are open to negotiations on price if you can show creative flair with part of the task outlined.

  I did leave a comment for each submitted design. Did you not see them? Basically they are far too modern. Take a look at some photos of the choir (http://www.halstead-church.org/category/photo-gallery/events-halstead-badgers-mount/carols-candlelight-2011) and you may see what I mean.
