We are looking for a Designer with capacity to create Cities and natural landscapes in 3D to be printed. We will offer to the winner of this competition the possibility to design every city, building and place that we have planned to fabricate and distribute (more than 50 models, a lot of work).

The goal of this competition is designing Valencia´s city in 3D. The model has to be created in a 3D program with option to export in some Rhinoceros format, and also in .stl.

The idea is to represent irrelevant buildings with not to many details (only forms and heights according to reality) but design a good rendering of important Buildings.

In the case of Valencia, we highlight the next important buildings:

- Arts and Science City (All Museums and Oceanografic)
- Mestalla
- Central Market
- Colon Market
- The Bullring
- Iron Building
- The Lonja
- Correos Builing
- Town Hall
- Cathedral and Miguelete
- Generalitat Palace
- Porta de la Mar
- Both Calatrava Bridges
- Pagoda Building
- Veles e Vents

We upload some examples of other cities that we have watched and which are the example we want to follow to create our Spanish cities and places in 3d Line. In the case of Valencia is easy, because is a Plain City, but in cities where Geographic relief is relevant, you can use in Spain IGN website http://www.ign.es/

We dont watch this as a alone competition to find the best Valencia City Model, we are doing this to find the ideal person to lead our complete project which englobes many more cities and places, so you can present yourself and you have to have consideration that the prize will be lot higher because you will have work with us many other times.

Buscamos Diseñador con capacidad para crear Ciudades, Edificios y paisajes naturales en 3D para ser impresos en 3D. Ofreceremos al ganador de este concurso la posibilidad de diseñar cada ciudad, edificio y lugar que tenemos previsto fabricar y distribuir (más de 50 maquetas, mucho trabajo).

El objetivo de este concurso es diseñar la ciudad de Valencia en 3D. El modelo tiene que ser creado en un programa 3D con opción de exportar en algún formato para Rhinoceros, y también en .stl.

La idea es representar edificios irrelevantes sin demasiados detalles (solo formas y alturas acordes a la realidad) pero diseñar una buena representación de los edificios importantes.

En el caso de Valencia, destacamos los siguientes edificios importantes:

- Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias (Todos los Museos y Oceanográfico)
- Mestalla
- Mercado Central
- Mercado Colón
- La Plaza de Toros
- Edificio de hierro
- La Lonja
- Edificio Correos
- Ayuntamiento
- Catedral y Miguelete
- Palacio de la Generalitat
- Puerta de la Mar
- Ambos Puentes de Calatrava
- Edificio Pagoda
- Veles e Vents

Subimos algunos ejemplos de otras ciudades que hemos visto y que son el ejemplo que queremos seguir para crear nuestras ciudades y lugares españoles. En el caso de Valencia es fácil, porque es una Ciudad Llana, pero en ciudades donde el relieve geográfico es relevante, puedes usar el sitio web de IGN en España http://www.ign.es/

No vemos esto como una competición única para encontrar el mejor modelo de ciudad de Valencia, lo hacemos para encontrar a la persona ideal para liderar nuestro proyecto completo que engloba muchas más ciudades, edificios y lugares, por lo que debes presentarte y tener en cuenta que el premio será mucho mayor porque tendrás trabajo con nosotros muchas otras veces.

    Also scale and support issues of 3d printing worries me especially in Calatrava's buildings. How big and detailed will these be printed?

      Es posible participar presentando un model del centro histórico de la ciudad. Si el trabajo es adecuado, se puede ganar perfectamente y ya hablaríamos para el resto de la ciudad para fijar un precio considerando la calidad del trabajo. Buscamos más bien una persona con capacidad para hacer lo que queremos, que un simple modelo de la ciudad.

    Hola, me interesa participar para este concurso, quisiera proponerle lo siguiente: Ya que es un volumen alto de trabajo, me gustaría presentarles el modelado de un modelo específico y la mitad de la ciudad, pudiendo así usted observar la calidad de mi trabajo como los detalles del mismo y una vez sea declarado ganador completaría mi entrega, en un tiempo proporcional al volumen de trabajo. Cabe señalar que el precio es bajo para el tipo de trabajo que solicita, por lo que, ante la entrega de mi segunda parte conciliaríamos un precio de esta, así como de los futuros trabajos.

    Hello ; let's be realistic . If you are looking for a 3d model made with an elevation of data under blender, a twelve year old child can do it and the budget is good. If you want more precise models of the different monuments you describe, there are many days of work for each element and you have to add a zero to the budget

      Detail only in important buildings. The rest of the city general forms and as european city the majority of the buildings are similar. There are website and way to download the city in 3D but without detail
