Contest Brief

I need a Wedding Invitation Card. The couple has given me 78 pictures of their time together over the years and we did an Engagement Shooting as well. They want sort of a mosaic with the 78 pictures (or some) as well as have some pictures of the engagement shooting (as i shot those - they should be larger! :) ) in the card.

I want an indesign file so i can change the text and maybe change some pictures at their will.

I usually have square cards (21x21cm or 15x15cm) that are folded once (open 15x30 and 21x42) but am open to other suggestions as well.

So for the inside, I'm keeping it simple and using a single tall image. Tried using a full length shot of them but thought it might look weird when it's partially unfolded. Might not look flattering. With out specific content on the inside, I'm just guessing with text. Thought it might look cool to see two bikes intertwined like two rings linked together.

Ok, so here's what I did. I only did the front portion so you can see the general style I'm rolling with. That way if you just absolutely hate it and want to burn it then I'll have saved myself 2+ hours of additional work.

Btw, do you know if she's the kind of girl that is modest about bikini shots? Cause I have one in there. Only it's cropped to show no more than a prom dress.

  I'm taking an educated guess here, they don't want a mosaic on the inside right? Any specific text on the inside? If not I'm just going to use placeholder text for the time being.

Setting a up a mosaic style in InDesign really isn't that hard. You take the square marquee tool and duplicate empty squares and one by one press Command D to place and image inside. Then take your pick of text for couple's name and wedding date, call it a day.

How do you propose (pun not intended) we submit these templates?
