Hi,
I would like to create the visual identity of my property investments company and develop a graphic concept applicable to business cards, headed paper, brochures and a website.
1. The name of the company is Silom and I would like it to be the LOGO of the company. In particular the letter S should be a graphics representation of the symbol in the attached file and the rest of the word should be in a font consistent with the elaborated first letter. The idea is to have an artistic representation of the “S” so that I can be able to use as a logo both the full word Silom and just the letter S.

2. Company colors should be blue (prevailing) and orange, I have been inspired by the colors of the sky at sunset. These colors are meant to convey feelings of warmth, trust and brightness. But I would like just a little use of colors.

3. The overall style should be sober smart and elegant because the company is in the property investments business so it wants to appear as serious, safe, solid. As for colors I expect something eye-catching but graphically simple: less is more for me but I expect something high-profile.

I would like to thank all for your hard work. From the ratings you probably can see that 1) the style should be elegant 2) the symbol should be modified to resemble a capital 3) I like a delicate play with colours for the whole word or just the S, it can just a fading blue or blue on top fading into orange below, or also not fading but just combining the two colors as some of you have done. But I am happy because I was able to pass you my idea that the logo must be the whole word and also the S on its own. Thank you again for work. regards

The letter S must be a graphics elaboration of the symbol attached in the file.

  like in designs 4 and 8. The symbol that is similar to a capital S can be modified a bit can be straightened or flattened and although it must be consistent with the font used for the rest of the word "ilom" it has to stand out a bit in oredr to be able to be a logo on its own.
