Nextub is a last-second booking app that optimises the answer to the question “Where do I go now?”. Nextub’s algorithm learns from the users´ behaviour and the surrounding environment, ensuring the continuous improvement of the experience. Whatever you like and wherever you are, Nextub is the best way to discover the trendiest cafes, pubs and clubs around you.



USERS

We are building Nextub to reach a wide demographic and we want to create an attractive and inclusive product. Our users are modern and cosmopolitan people who like to discover new places and fully enjoy, not depending on location or time. Most of our users will be aged between 20yo and 40yo.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We want to create an amazing experience, keeping the application clean and easy to use. We are looking for an experienced designer to develop our logo, identity and brand guidelines. Please keep in mind that this is mobile-first product, but we will launch a website to present the product and redirect traffic to the app stores. The work needs to include:

Logo Guide – Guide for size, colorization, and proper placement. Has to include icon for Android and iOS 7/8.
Colour Scheme – Specific primary and secondary colours and combinations.
Font Guide – What typestyles to use, and when they’re appropriate.
Company Template & Stationary Design – Positioning of logo, address information on letterhead, business cards, press release
App Guidelines

NOTE: You can start designing the logo and the icon. We can move on to the other requirements after agreeing a concept.

      Kelvin, I would be the last person in here who would be bitter or show bad sportsmanship because of someone not liking my work. I truly respect that it's the right of the contest holder to reject or to approve a design. I really mean it. My apologies if you people think that I was being rude or bitter, I was just letting the contest holder know that if you'd read the personal messages or provide good feedback, it would eventually help him receive better ideas.     I've to ask a very important question. Since your competitors have all the text-based logos like Facebook. Would you be interested in those as well? Text-based logos don't really have any meaning to them but they are a unique identity of your brand.

      I would preper to have a non-text logo and icon, that can be mixed with the text when needed. We need something eye catching, fun and friendly. Warm and plain colours (not 3Ds) can be an option. Thanks

    Hi guys. I am currently rating all your work. I have rejected most of the options keeping a number of expectional projects. Note that we have a product and a technology that will allow us to be one of the key players in the London startup community for 2015 and we need the best quality branding. Some of the projects are not enough mobile-focused and the style doesnt fit well in a new startup (we are in 2014). An attractive icon, designs with good body (not just lines), warm plain colours and original ideas are a good start. Thanks guys!

      Hi, The "font" used in my logo actually is not a font at all, I crafted all the letters myself. I didn't realize I had to attach a color scheme guide but I'll go ahead and do that now.
