We developed a mobile waterless car wash company which has been operating for about 1 year under the brand name UberShine Mobile Car Wash.
The response to our services has been beyond our expectations, with continued customer growth, and several companies who have approached us to become our regional franchisees and open more branches of our business around the country.
To date we only have a basic logo, business card and brochure which have all been designed by us, in response to the need for each of these items.
We are now at the point in our business where we have to finalize our logo, uniforms, brochures, business cards, vehicles, and website before we open any franchises.
The aim of this contest is to find a designer who can develop our corporate image, and who we can work with on an on going basis to build that image throughout all future areas of the business.
Our chosen colors at the moment are Orange, Black, Dark Grey/Carbon Fibre, and White.
Our current thinking is for the predominate color for the company to be a very bright orange so as to stand out.
When we think of the UberShine brand and where we see it, we think of the following
We want a bright orange to be the main color of the company, but are struggling at the moment on how to use an orange logo on an orange uniform, or car, as we felt that a purely black uniform or vehicle with the orange logo on it looked good but was not vibrant enough, and was too hot for a uniform in our southern hemisphere summers.
We want you to revamp or redesign of the logo and color scheme, and show how it can be carried through business cards, uniforms, brochures, website, vehicles, etc.
Our mobile car wash uses VW Golfs with chrome rims as our vehicles, and its sister company UberShine Tuck Washing will utilize the same branding and logo, but will be put onto our Mitsubishi Triton Utility vehicles with wheel arch flares bigger tyres on 20 inch chrome wheels with a chrome nudge bar on the front and a chrome sports bar behind the cab. As the Tritons are used in the Truck washing business they have to look more rugged/manly to fit in better with the trucking industry
It would also be good if the logo had a 3d look to it, ie if the round smiley face looked as if it was on a round convex surface
I have added the basic logo we have so far, along with images from our thought board on the kinds of things we are thinking about.
t shirts we did as a concept
pictures of the bold sort of look we want to achieve with the VW Golfs and the Mitsubishi Tritons
For the uniforms we are currently thinking Black denim jeans with an Orange and Grey or Orange and Black shirt. The main front of the shirt should probably be black or dark grey to hide any dirt that gets on the uniform from washing, with orange on the back and sleeves.
We like the Formula 1 race team uniform look for the car washing, and maybe something along the lines of a drivers race suit for the Truck Washing crews.
