    I used to help Marketing and Sales department with this kind of task. They buy a contact from an outsource company and there're a bunch of duplicated and they requires me to remove all of these duplicate (as I remembered after the filter there're only 20% of them is useful). I believe this is also your case, so you can't realize that file on the internet ;) By the way, what I will do is to find a definition of the duplication. Then sort it by my definition. Finally, I'll use a simple sorting algorithm (no need to use macro, just a normal Excel function - if, index,....) and filter out all duplicates. There are a total of 10 Excel file, each contains about 200k records and it took me about 4 hours to filter out all the duplicate of 10 Excel file. I believe the time will be the same for you.
