Donation Proposal for a start-up autism and special needs organization

Contest Brief

My partners and I are looking for a post of 250 words or less to launch on a crowdfunding website requesting donations to aid in the cost of our start-up organization dedicated to the autism and special needs communities in the USA. Please note that it is imperative that the introduction is heartfelt and catchy as to compel people to donate. It would also help if writers have some knowledge of autism and the effects it can have on an individual and their families so as to be able to write from an authentic place. Please try to stay away from using a lot of facts while writing. This is all about evoking emotion in the reader!!

My basic idea was to have low content but appealing and effective. The reader must not feel burden reading lengthy text. So i summed up in around 60 words. if you feel more content should be there, i can put, but my personal view is to have low and effective text with appealing graphics.

I actually wrote a letter for a student who has a learning disability to keep him in his school. It was ultimately given to the heads of the Catholic community in a major North American city - so it was read and deliberated on by major players. I also write regularly for a Human Rights magazine. Is my experience of interest?

I'm new to freelancer, and have no idea how to submit as it's asking for an image file, but I am a mother of two primary age children with autism, and I am also a writer, educated to undergraduate level (I'm in my final year). I can write an emotive, yet informative proposal, and am familiar with Crowdfunder/Kickstarter, although I have not used them myself.

Please see my profile, yes I am new to this site but not new to love, life and everything....I am a good emotional communicator, or so I believe. Tears are good sometimes, but funding is the best pragmatic help of today's real world. Mike.
