I need to get a new eBook cover for my second volume of Montana history. The book has to have the same design and look as the first.

You can see what the first book looks like here, and I'll also post the picture:

I'd like to use an image which I've already selected. I want it to take up the whole cover, no bars on top or bottom. This might be difficult because the image is not sized real well for that.

Please feel free to ask any questions. I'd like to get this done in a few days as I'm about ready to put the book out.

There are 8 entries I'm deciding upon from 4 freelancers. The main issue now is just not being able to see the author name. I don't have a problem making it a bit larger so that it shows up at a small scale.

I'll award this contest sometime over the next 5 to 6 hours hopefully. Thanks again, I know these contests can be a pain, especially if you don't win.

Entries with a black text coloring will win. I have to be able to read the title and the author name. Right now there are some good covers, but I just can't read the words when they're small. Those covers will not win as a result, even if they are really good.

I have some misspelling at my designs. I can't delete them since withdraw has some negative points. If you liked the design I'll take care of spellings.

The best covers are getting the men and the mountain in the picture really good. So far #22 is doing the best at the scale I want. I'm really leaning toward #5 because of the black text color. I think this shows up a lot better when the cover is smaller on Amazon.

If anyone can make #5 and #22 look better you'll probably have this contest. As of now, those two are in the lead.

I'll probably wait a day or two before awarding this to see what comes in. You don't have to make too many more changes for now. I'm leaning toward 11,5,2,and 4 right now. They have good fonts similar to my first book.

I like the idea of darker text, like 5 has, because it shows up better on a smaller cover.

I'd also like it if everyone could make the h bigger in "A history of Montana" so it's "A History of Montana"

I'll also be choosing a picture that doesn't block out the man's face, arm, or hand in the picture.
