Contest Brief

I have an ESP32 Basic Core IoT Development Kit V2.7 installed in my truck and need firmware that will warn me whenever the Starlink router stays powered after I switch the ignition off.

The sketch should watch a dedicated ignition-sense pin: while the line is high the unit does nothing special, but as soon as it goes low it must keep polling the Wi-Fi connection status in code. If the ESP32 is still associated with any network after a user configurable amount of time, an on-board LED must begin to flash, screen starts flashing and the internal speaker must chirp in tandem until the Wi-Fi link drops or the ignition is restored.

I would like a simple LCD screen interface on the kit’s I²C display that shows real-time states (“Ignition ON / OFF”, “Wi-Fi CONNECTED / DISCONNECTED with name”, Vehicle Battery Voltage and an “ALERT” message when the alarm is active). Please include screenshots or simulator captures of this GUI so I can see exactly what to expect before I flash the board. User should have option to upload custom logo splash screen.

Deliverables
• Fully commented code ready to compile for ESP32 Basic Core V2.7
• Pin map / wiring diagram covering ignition-sense input, LED, buzzer, and LCD
• Screenshots or mock-ups of the LCD pages
• Short read-me with build instructions and any required libraries

Acceptance will be based on the sketch compiling cleanly, the states displaying correctly on the LCD, and the LED + buzzer activating only when the Wi-Fi connection persists after ignition goes low.
User should have option to silence the alarm utilizing push buttons on the front.
