G+3 Floor Plan Contest
- Status: Open
- Prize: ₹25000
- Entries Received: 4
Contest Brief
Please NOTE: All contests published by me on this platform are Guaranteed Contests. The announced prize money will be awarded to one selected winning entry without exception. I also reserve the option to announce additional prizes if I come across exceptional architectural brilliance or innovative design thinking.
I’m preparing to develop a ground-plus-three residential building and I’d like fresh, functional 2D floor plans for all four levels. Ground floor must include one bedroom (Walking closet + Bath) , pooja room as well as a living room + Parking + Staircase + Lift.. Kitchen, living, dining, pooja, bathroom on First floor.. Master bedroom with walking closet, bath with Jacuzi, Gym on second floor.. Pool, Solar, shower, Terrace garden on third. Beyond those fixed elements, you’re free to play with circulation, balcony placement, utility shafts and other smart touches that maximise light, cross-ventilation and usable square footage.
The exact plot dimensions, orientation attached herewith. NO CONSTRUCTION IN THE TEMPLE MARKING. 6.5m X 7.5M. You can optimise your layout for setbacks (1m both sides, 1.5m rear, 2.5m front), staircase positioning and services. AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD or similar industry-standard software is fine—just export final drawings to PDF and DWG. ONLY ORIGINAL WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED. AI is good for ideas ONLY.
Contest rules & deliverables
• One complete 2D floor plan for the ground floor and each of the three upper floors
• Separate furniture layout layer (helps me visualise scale)
• North arrow, clear dimensions and room labels on every sheet. Align to General Vastu guidelines.
. A brief design note explaining your concept and any key assumptions
Selection & award
I’ll review creativity, code compliance, circulation efficiency, max space usage, thoughts on right tampering triangle area across floors and clarity of documentation. The design that best balances these factors will receive the ₹25,000 prize ( + additional bonus upto ₹25000) and may be invited to develop full working drawings later.
Submit your first draft, and let’s see how you’d turn this footprint into a comfortable, well-organised luxurious home for a senior citizen.

Dear Designers
As we are heading to the finish line, here are the Top 3 shortlisted designs.
#122 brings a premium villa-style layout with landscaped openness and a luxurious patio-centered living experience.
#90 focuses on practical living with efficient space utilization, a clean layout, and balanced functionality.
#125 delivers a modern luxury concept with a home office, open planning, and lifestyle-focused spaces.
Final design will be selected (Vastu & Construction feasibility) by 30th May and officially announced on 31st May.
Thank you to everyone for your creativity, effort, patience, and time throughout this journey. I understand that rejection can feel disappointing after the hard work invested into each concept. Every design brought unique value, and the final selection process has been extremely difficult. Detailed comparison feedback for all original designs will be shared individually after the final decision.

1. The road and the Temple is towards South & South West respectively. Other than these sides, do you have any views towards the North & East towards which Balconies can be oriented? Are there any views towards West too?
2. What is the height of the existing temple on South West side.
3. What is the type of climate at the site and what is the prevailing wind direction? If you could let me know the location, I can get the prevailing wind direction and also arrive at sun shade widths.
4. Are you looking at Central air-conditioning with units placed on Terrace, or split ACs independently for each bedroom.
5. Is Pooja room required on both the Ground & First floor as mentioned in the brief?- 2 days ago

Dear Designers,
Thank you for the time, effort, creativity, and constructive ideas you invested in submitting your entries for the contest.
Some of you submitted multiple concepts. Some shared entries under sealed status. Some actively engaged through chat and provided updates throughout the process. A few of you even shared 3D exterior renderings without being asked, while some requested additional payment for 3D renders when discussed. It has been a mixed but valuable experience interacting with all of you.
I have carefully reviewed every 2D layout submitted and genuinely appreciate the thought process, planning logic, space utilization ideas, and creative approaches reflected in your work.
I will soon announce the Top 5 entries from the designs received so far. The next stage will involve a detailed Vastu review and validation process on these shortlisted concepts.
Thank you once again for your participation.

Dear designers,
Thanks for your time and effort. Keep the entries coming. 3D views are being created for all entries before rejection. I have shorlisted designs have measurements for next round (Structural Feasibility & Vastucheck). Only those designs are active now in this contest page.
Please do last min adjustments if needed to Design fitness, to Plot sizes. I have added another plot with offsets diagram to the files.
If all checks complete, I will close this contest and award for the best design on Sunday 31st May. Will keep you posted.

Dear sir, I have checked the new measurements and see that there are odd numbers, for example at the back of the site, it says 12.4 m total and 1 m setbacks on each sides. However if you add 9.4+1+1=11.4, and since the site is getting wider to the front, it should be even wider than 11.4.
There is also a problem regarding the line that borders the temple with 6.5 m measurements that is facing the street. It says 3.5 m length after setback, but considering it has 1 m setback on its side and additional 1 m setback on 7.5m side, it should be also more or less 6.5 m, not 3.5 m.
Another one is the 7.5 length. It's 7.5-2.5(front setback)+1.5(setback of another side)=6.5 m. It says 4.5 m in your illustration.
Would you please clarify these measurements as the difference are very significant, measuring 2-3 m of difference, that can lead to an entirely different configuration. Thank you.- 4 days ago

Contest Holder - 4 days ago
3D plot measurements are wrong.. Please go with plot and offsets (front 2.5m, rear 1.5m, 1m both sides)..

Thank you for your participation in the ongoing contest and for submitting your design proposals. The following are the reasons for rejection:
1. Plans created using AI tools or chatbots are often not aligned accurately with the actual site measurements.
2. The basic conditions mentioned in the contest requirements have not been followed. No construction is permitted in the left-side cut area measuring 6.5m × 7.5m.
3. Dimensions for all spaces in the design have not been provided. Irregular spaces must clearly specify both length and depth measurements.- 6 days ago
