Hi all!

I have a resume that I have been using for years and years. This is not a "regular" resume - it looks more like a brochure. See the attached resume for the current version.

I love the resume, and it seems to get a lot of attention. However, in order to submit my resume, I need to turn it from PDF into Word format. I'll also need it in PDF format in the end, less than 500KB. So, all of the text needs to be embedded and the graphics have to be minimal, simplistic, but still stand out!

I am looking for someone with professional graphic design skills to re-make the resume from scratch in Word format. You are allowed to change and update the graphics if you have better ideas, but for the most part I just want to have the same resume re-made into Word so that I can submit it to recruiters and other interested parties.

All designers will be considered!

Clarification: a lot of artists are submitting the same exact resume. I am looking for an improvement on the original design, NOT simply to remake it in Word format. For a $500 contest, let's see some creativity please! I like minimalist design like the original, and you can use the content from the original design, but if I want a new and improved version... not the same one! :) Thanks!

Hello Contest Holder. Please have a look at my entry #10, #11 . I have recreated the docx file and made it exactly as you wished. The size of the file is now 144 KB on disk. The images has been compressed well with no difference in the look and feel. Your resume is now ready to use with a drastically decrease in size. I will provide you with all the formats you have described. Please let me know, if you need any help.

  Well if you take a look, the original file is just a tiny bit smaller than A4.

  Yeah, but in India we use A4 as the standard size. Anyways, I already made it as per the original size.

  One cannot upload the files in the correct format on submitting a contest entry except for that of JPG, PNG and GIF images. After winning the competition, the winner transfers the files to the contest holder - this is called contest handover. In this, all file types are allowed and the winner can easily upload the file in the correct format for the contest holder privately. The file is uploaded on the freelancer's server itself.
