Contest Brief

BAR Publishing is looking for 2 illustrators/concept artists for 2 upcoming releases in 2018. We will provide you with a script and references images to complete 3 comic book pages .

**Please note that we are looking for artists who can follow direction and meet deadlines. The illustrator who delivers the work EARLY will be given special consideration!**

You will have 48 hrs to complete the work. The winner will be featured in a published comic, offered a contract for 1 of upcoming issues and will receive a feature in Elysium: Origins (Feb 2018).

    Hi Everyone, just a friendly reminder: The whole point to the trial period is to see who FOLLOWS INSTRUCTIONS and delivers the work ON TIME. Don't waste everyone's time if your NOT going to send in the work. If you want a FULL TIME job in the comic book industry, BAR can provide you with that. However, every department has to meet deadlines. If the illustrators don't follow the rules, meet deadlines etc, you will cause every department to be late and thus the issues will NOT be released on time! The issues will then go OVER budget which is something we can't afford to happen. If you can't be professional, meet deadlines etc, then please do not participate. There are plenty of artists that would love a FULL TIME JOB at BAR Publishing. Thank you

    Hi Guys, most of you have to submit your work within the next 30 mins. NONE of you sent in the original sketch as you ALL were instructed to do! This is specifily part of the trial period to see if you can follow instructions. If you would like to be considered for regular employment, I suggest you follow the instructions or this will cause you to automaticly FAIL the trial period. BAR Team
