Contest Brief

St Francis House is a nonprofit in Boston MA dedicated to working with the homeless. We are a full service provider to include meals, clothing, medical, housing, case management, and job training. We struggle to find jobs for the men and woman and fall short of securing employment commitments from business partners. Sadly, we recycle trash, cans, paper but just not people. As a society, we write people off. So, this is our solution to this injustice-

design thoughts: strong bold, easy to remember, embody the sewing or needle, call to action, provoking.
design should include name: CarryON and tag: People, Product, Purpose OR propose a rocking concept and I could be persuaded.

We need a strong logo that resonates with people, that captures the spirit and depth of our work but still is appealing aesthetically. Our sewing product line consists of totes, various bags, place mats and coasters all made from re-purposed material, primarily coffee sack burlap and awning canvass which is completely donated. Additionally, we are looking into sewing custom coffee sleeves. We have the intent of developing wholesale, boutique, and custom lines around all these products.

I want the best for these guys. They dedicate so much time and energy into this business and they deserve the best chance at success. I will take the logo and build a brand around it to include, website, e-commerce, social media, marketing campaigns.
