We need a background graphic to compliment our selection system.

Attached is what we are currently using. The squares/rectangles depict the 'active areas'. The main square is where the kit design is shown (as it is made) and the rectangles are actively used to make the design.

Text is used in the rectangles but no text is used in the square.

We would like a design that is attractive to look at but not distracting from building the kit in the areas marked. This does not mean that the design cannot go into those areas.

We are open to themes, colours and designs. You may, if you chose, ignore the marked areas (as your idea may work out).

We look forward to seeing your ideas.

  Hi! Can you take a look at entry #43? What I tried to archieve here is a design that looks professional, being well balanced and interesting without feeling cluttered. I tried to stick to monochromes (black or only one color) as the Kits will be very colorful and will struggle against the design. If I were you, I'd pick up a black/gray design for this. Also, I tried to stick to the number of drop-downs from the original proposal, as I imagine that these are the number of choices the user will have and they are better to be shown in a single place/menu. The idea for the kit background is to make a perspective scape for it to exist, leveling the interest on it without stealing attention. Thank you for your time and thank you for the opportunity.=)

Hello Everybody. First I'd just like to say thank you for all the entrants. A bit of clarification, a large number of entrants seem to just be placing a background behind the boxes and submitting them. This is fine but it is unlikely to get you more than two stars. What we are looking for is an inclusive design where the boxes and the background seamlessly blend with each other to make a functioning design that is both attractive and functional. Examples of this are #17 and #5 (and #4 , but we weren't so keen on this one).
