I need some Graphic Design for interprofessional musculoskeletal network
- Status: Closed
- Prize: $400
- Entries Received: 13
- Winner: r3x
A colleague ( John Stevens) and I ( Brent Verco) are forming a company that will run Seminars in around Australia for Chiropractors, Osteopaths, Physiotherapists, and Gp's that will provide professional development.
We have decided to put the graphic design out to a contest instead of the usually tender process. We are hoping to have some designs to review by 8:00 am Friday the 15th Eastern Australian Time.
The company will be called Australian Musculoskeletal Network (AMSN)
We require a wordpress website that allows online enrollments, payments, has a page of upcoming events and even allows for online learning. I have a basic knowledge of wordpress so part of this job would be also teaching me and business partner some more complicated facets of running the webpage and integrating new plugins. This would involve some ongoing work and payment. We have tendered this out in a separate freelancer job.
Specially for this project we requiring the following graphic design
- A Logo that can be integrated throughout the project ( perhaps the hands with hat ? )
- A Website header that can be used on wordpress sight.
- A letter head for mail outs ( A4)
- Email footers from the company mail outs
-An A4 mail out for our upcoming seminar titled " Connecting practitioners " ( to be held in the dune room Byron Bay on the 15th/16th March 2014 ) see word document title " The Australian Musculoskeletal network "
- Business cards
You would also need to work closely with our web designer that we will select from a project we have also posted.
The Seminar is about new developments in the field of musculoskeletal medicine and also about promoting more referral and understanding between the health professions.
A graphic designer friend of mine has a made a logo already([login to view URL]) that contains and hat and a pair of hands that reflects the content on what we are trying to focus on but we are not entirely limited to this. Ignore the part about massage just draw from the hands and academic hat if that inspires you. If you have a better or different idea we would love to hear from you !
We are keen to use a light blue colour scheme and it must be a conservative professional look that will appeal to doctors yet not be too serious as the seminars are to be held in a beach suburb. You could also google byron bay australia for some inspiration . many businesses use the lighthouse or waves and surf in different clever ways. It would be good if you understood the beach and surf culture of the byron bay.
We are trying to promote a lifestyle type of seminar. We will be doing yoga on the beach in the morning and then the seminar will start. We are looking for a more relaxed light hearted type of design.
I have purchased a range of stock images already which i may feel may help your design. If you feel that you have another image that may enhance the project please let me know and we may be able to purchase it.
If anybody does have expertise in wordpress and would like to try a mock up design we may be interested with working with you for the next stage of the project to build the website.
Other requirements for this project
- You must have a good understanding of written and spoken English
- You must be available for work after this project has ended to make changes
- You must be upfront about your hourly rate for any changes that need to be made.
good luck and we look forward to working with one you soon !

“Irmantus is a true professional. He is a man of his word and a very talented graphic designer. He was the only one who to took the time to understand what we needed and he exceeded our expectations all the way. Highly recommended for a complicated design brief. Every email was also answered very quickly. We will certainly be using his services in the future.”
