for shops
maybe build an app for stores and shopping malls where whenever people buy stuff from a shop their (shop) popularity counter is increased. in the app people can see which stores are more popular, which stores are getting negative feedback. since its live traffic people can see the number of crowd in the mall/store. people can see which product is being sold the most. maybe they can create wishlists for products that they want and the shop owners can view them.

Very interesting concept. It may be difficult to get stores to agree to share this data, but I wonder if there would be a way that they could be convinced. Or have the manufacturers release the data through the ERP systems. Interesting thought of promoting "the most popular" stores / products in the mall.
