Illustrate Something for a whiteboard animation

Contest Brief
We are creating a whiteboard animation that requires a realistic look. It is a serious subject, so we are not looking for anything cartoony.
The subject matter is black history, specifically the long-term effects of slavery on modern education, with a focus on ways we can fix the problems.
The winner will be awarded this contest, and will be hired to illustrate the rest of the frames of this 90 second video. If you are an animator, that is a plus! Please include an idea of how much it would cost to illustrate a total of 10 frames.
So what are we looking for? A realistic illustration of a african-american male who is being whipped, an african american family working in a cotton field, or a portrait of Frederick Douglass are some examples. Although unpleasant, these things did happen. Use historical imagery as your guide. Remember, it should be realistic, not cartoony.
