Contest Brief

We are looking to create an original illustration for a brochure for a professional service. This is an illustration for B2B (business to business) not consumer marketing. Our audience are companies in distress. We are trying to communicate that there are Seven Warning Signs of Distress: Selling Off Assets, Cash Flow Constraints, Unable to Pay Debts, Decline in Performance, Pressure from Lenders, Critical Tax Issues, Mounting Legal Action.

The words Selling Off Assets etc must be part of the illustration.

We are not looking for silly characters, stick people or clip art. THIS IS NOT AN AD. It is an illustration that fits onto one quarter of a page. DO NOT include our website or information on B2B.

I've just added a two-page brochure as a file. It is similar to what we will create in look and feel. Not content. The illustration we are looking for should fit the look and feel of this corporate brochure. It would replace the photo for example.

We are looking for an illustration of either a road with "signs" or "warning signs" or "red flags" with the words. We want people to understand that there are times in a business when there are clear signs of distress. It is important to pay attention. They are not often linear so its not really a "path" or a "road" but that is an OK image.
